To complete the assignments for the Unix portion of the class, you will need access to the following PC software. These programs are free for ASU students.
This program helps you connect to other computers in a way that protects you from people who might be "listening in", trying to grab your password or steal a copy of your files.
This lets you view 3-dimensional objects using your web browser. After installing the program, go to http://holodraw.org/example/sph.html and select the link that says sph.wrl. When you see a button that says fit in the lower right corner of your screen, click it, and a picture should appear. You can drag the picture with your mouse to view it from different angles. Later, in class, we'll discuss more about how to work with 3D pictures and even how to make your own.
